About this website
The site is run by The Estate of Reuben Ugbine (“the Estate”), 8b, Frankfort Avenue, Ikoyi, Lagos, Nigeria. It presents the life and work of the sculptor Reuben Ugbine (1956–2021) and a selection from the Estate’s catalogue.
The catalogue is information, not an offer
The year, medium and size of each work are copied from the Estate’s catalogue. We take care with them, but they can contain mistakes, and a work may no longer be available. Nothing on this site is an offer to sell. A sale exists only when the Estate confirms it to you in writing, with the work, the price, the payment terms and the delivery terms agreed.
Prices are not published. Ask the Estate about any work. Provenance, condition and availability are confirmed to you directly before any sale.
Enquiries and viewings
Sending an enquiry or requesting a viewing does not create a contract. Viewings are by appointment, and the Estate may decline or reschedule one. Please give accurate details so we can reply.
Copyright and use of images
The works shown here are by Reuben Ugbine. Unless a page says otherwise, the Estate holds the rights in the works, in the photographs and in the text of this site. You may view the site and share its links. Please ask before you copy, reproduce, publish or sell any image or text. The Copyright and Image Use page explains how.
Using the site properly
Please do not try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site, send spam through its forms, or collect addresses or other data from it with automated tools.
Links to other websites
We link to museums, galleries, auction houses and news sites so you can check our sources. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for what they say or do.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of Lagos State will deal with any dispute, unless the law where you live gives you the right to go elsewhere.
