The Reuben Ugbine Foundation
A new family initiative to look after his archive and support young sculptors.
Reuben Ugbine worked for more than forty years in wood and clay. The Foundation is the family’s way of keeping that work documented, cared for and open to people who want to study it. It is new, and its programmes are starting now. Karo Ugbine, one of his sons, leads the Estate’s work.

What the Foundation is for.
Its work falls into three areas: documenting and authenticating his catalogue, researching how to conserve tropical hardwoods and terracotta, and giving grants to young sculptors.
